The Becker Knife and Tool Crewman is a great heavy duty utility knife and outdoor knife. Since it is made of 3/16" steel, it does not weigh as much as the ultra-tough Campanion so it is easier to carry, yet it has plenty of "brawn" to handle the toughest of tasks. The thumb ramp allows for better blade control and helps when you want to put more pressure on the blade edge. The false edge, clip point is very handy for piercing and working in tighter spots. It is also great for popping joints on large game. The saber grind allows the knife to work very well for slicing tasks as well as "blunt force" tasks such as battoning.
