The Great Eastern Cutlery Farm and Field #62 Pocket Carver is a traditional Congress style pocket knife which has been around for some time as its original purpose was to make quill pens. The GEC Farm and Field #62 Pocket Carver is a smaller-sized pocket knife featuring three 1095 carbon steel blades making it very useful for a variety of every day tasks and carving. The slim design allows it to ride very easy in your pocket. It makes a great general purpose, gentleman's fine pocket knife. Made with pride in Titusville, PA. The Blade(s):

The #62 Pocket Carver features a Wharncliffe main blade and two carver secondary blades. The Wharncliffe blade has a cutting edge of 2.1875" and a nail nick for opening. The two carver blades have cutting edges of 1.125" and a nail nicks on opposite sides for opening. All blades have a half stop and a satin finish. The main blade has "FARM & FIELD" and "Pocket Carver" etched on it.

The Handle Construction:

The handle is long enough for a solid four finger hold for most people. The handle scales are Natural Linen Micarta and the attaching pins and liners are brass. The oversize pivot pins are brass. The curve of the handle profile allows the knife to work well in the hand regardless of the knife position. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife pleasant to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.
