The Blade(s):
This Northfield #12 Toothpick features a single, flat ground 1095 steel blade with a swedge grind. The Clip Point blade makes it a great knife for everyday use. The polished finished blade has a cutting edge of 2.6875" and a nail nick for opening. The NORTHFIELD UN-X-LD Trade Mark is etched on the blade.
The Handle Construction:
The handle scales are Copperhead Pony Cut Bone. The single groove "pinched" bolster, end cap and "Propeller" inlay shield are polished nickel silver. The attaching pins and liners are brass. The handle scale edges are flush with the outside perimeter making the knife pleasant to hold. The fit and finish are excellent as would be expected of a Great Eastern Cutlery knife.
