This #78 American Jack pocket knife features a Spear Point blade with a swedge grind. It is made of 1095 steel and has a polished finish. The cutting edge is 2.5". The blade has a long nail nick for opening and features a half stop position. "NORTHFIELD UN-X-LD" is etched on the blade.
The Handle Construction:
The handle length is 3.75" and provides a solid four finger hold for most people. A Nickel Silver two groove Bolster and Nickel Silver End Cap adorn each end of the handle. The handle scales are Sambar Stag and the liners and pins are brass. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
