The Great Eastern Cutlery Tidioute #06 Pemberton is a traditional classic with its "coke bottle" shape. At 2.75" long, it's a realatively small knife that is very easy to carry. The Blade(s):
This Tidioute #06 Pemberton features two 1095 steel blades. The main blade is a spear point and the smaller blade is a sheep foot. This combination offers great versatility for various cutting needs that arise during a persons day. The spear point blade has a cutting edge of 1.8" and the sheep foot cutting edge is 1.375". Both have a nail nick for opening and have a satin finish. There is a half-stop.
The Handle Construction:
The handle scales are Muslin Micarta and the attaching hardware and liners are brass. The bolster, end cap and inlay shield are brushed nickel silver. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife pleasant to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.
