The Blade(s):
This #78 American Jack pocket knife has a larger Spear Point blade and a smaller pen blade. Both blades are 1095 steel and have a satin finish. The larger blade has a cutting edge of 2.5" with the Pen blade being 2". Both blades have a nail nick for opening and feature a half stop position.
The Handle Construction:
The handle length is 3.75" and provides a solid four finger hold for most people. A Nickel Silver Bolster and Nickel Silver End Cap adorn each end of the handle. The knifes great looks is accented by a "Hotdog" Nickel Silver Inlay Shield. The handle scales are Cocobolo wood and the liners and pins are brass. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
