The Blade(s):
This #86 Oil Field Jack pocket knife features Clip Point and Sheepfoot blades made of 1095 steel with a satin finish. The Clip Point blade has a cutting edge of 2.75" and the Sheepfoot blade is 2.2". Both blades have a nail nick for opening and feature a half stop position.
There is a circle with three "P" letters inside the circle which stands for "Pattern Production Premier" on the right side of the Sheepfoot blade since the Tidioute run is the first run for the #86 pattern.
The Handle Construction:
The handle length is 3.88" and provides a solid four finger hold for most people. A polished Nickel Silver Bolster and Nickel Silver End Cap adorn each end of the handle. The knifes great looks is accented by a "Wrench", Nickel Silver Inlay Shield with "TIDIOUTE" engraved on it. The handle scales are Natural Oily Creek Bone and the liners and pins are brass. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
