The Blade(s):
This #86 Oil Field Jack pocket knife features Clip Point and Sheepfoot blades made of 1095 steel with a satin finish. The Clip Point blade has a cutting edge of 2 3/4" and the Sheepfoot blade is 2 1/2". Both blades have a nail nick for opening and feature a half stop position.
The Handle Construction:
The handle length is 3.88" and provides a solid four finger hold for most people. A brushed Nickel Silver Bolster and Nickel Silver End Cap adorn each end of the handle. The knifes great looks is accented by a "Wrench", Nickel Silver Inlay Shield. The handle scales are Oil Sucker Rod Wood and the liners and pins are brass. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
