The Blade(s):
This #43 Oregon Pattern pocket knife features a large clip point blade made from 1095 steel and it has a polished finish. The blade has a cutting edge of 3.125", a nail nick for opening and features a half stop position. The "NORTHFIELD UN-X-LD" trademark is etched on the blade.
The Handle Construction:
The handle length is 4.187" and provides a solid four finger hold. A three groove, polished Nickel Silver Bolster adorns the handle. The knifes great looks is accented by a "Cloud" polished Nickel Silver Inlay Shield. The handle scales are Orange Camel Bone and the liners and pins are brass. There is a brass lanyard tube in the handle/frame. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
