Description
The Great Eastern Cutlery Tidioute #18 Beagle is a small, two blade, traditionally styled pocket knife. Even though it is small, it is a very practical knife and at just 1.4 ounces, you won't even know it is in your pocket. Made with pride in Titusville, PA. We are an authorized Great Eastern Cutlery Dealer and this is a new knife purchased from them.
The Blade(s):
The larger blade features a spear point with a cutting edge of 1.875". A nail nick is provided for opening. The smaller blade is a sheepfoot style blade with a 1.25" cutting edge. A nail nick is provided for opening. Both blades are 1095 carbon steel and feature a half stop position.
The Handle Construction:
The handle scales are Acrylic and all attaching pins are brass as are the liners. The handle scales are nicely shaped and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife comfortable to hold. The front and cap end bolsters and inlay shield are made of nickel silver. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is smooth with crisp parking when opened and closed.
