The Blade(s):
This #23 Trapper pocket knife features drop point skinner and spey blades made from 1095 steel with satin finishes. Both blades have a cutting edge of 3.375", nail nicks for opening and a half stop position. The graphic on the drop point blade shows a Beaver with "BEAVER TAIL" behindD it.
The Handle Construction:
The handle length is 4.5" and provides a solid four finger hold. A polished Nickel Silver Bolster adorns the handle. The knifes great looks is accented by a "Beaver" polished Nickel Silver Inlay Shield. The handle scales are Jigged Brazilian Cherry and the liners and pins are brass. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
