The GEC #85 Bullet End knife is a classy knife with many practical uses. This medium-sized folder is a slip joint type pocket knife. The Blade(s):
This knife features a single Spear Point style blade. The cutting edge is 2.45". The 1095 Carbon Steel blade features a half stop and has a satin finish. The blade deploys very smoothly, parking with a solid click. A nail nick facilitates opening the blade.
The Handle Construction:
The handle scales are Smooth Rotten Banana Bone and the attaching pins and liners are brass. The bolster, "bullet" end cap and "Banana" inlay shield are nickel silver. The handle scales are nicely shaped and are flush with the outside perimeter making the knife comfortable to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is smooth with solid "parking" when deployed.
