The Karesuando Kniven Stoera Niibi is a traditional Scandinavian style outdoor knife (small machete) that is designed as a small to medium-sized chopper. It will work great for large game animal processing, de-limbing, bushcraft tasks and camp kitchen duties among other things. It features an Oiled Curly Birch handle that has been hand carved to provide an incredibly comfortable grip. There is a Reindeer Antler cover on the pommel. The Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade provides a strong cutting platform which offers excellent edge performance and corrosion resistance.

The blade features an internal tang that inserts well into the handle and is secured very firmly with a high grade epoxy so that it won't come loose. In fact, Karesuando offers a 10 year warranty that if the blade ever comes loose, you will get a new knife. The internal tang design is very beneficial from a weight perspective.
