Lansky Sharpeners

For over 40 years, since 1979, Lansky Sharpeners have been recognized the world over as being the leader in Sharpening Technology. While the founder of the company was a medical student, Arthur Lansky Levine developed his first Lansky sharpening system because he was not satisfied with the sharpness of the surgical instruments that were available at the time.

Mr. Levine challenged himself to design a knife sharpening system with which anyone could attain a razor sharp edge every time. Shortly after this, Lansky's Controlled Angle sharpening system was produced using a combination of sharpening stones and guide rods. All Lansky Sharpeners are engineered to be fully ambidextrous, and manufactured to the highest standards of materials and workmanship.
