These Great Eastern Cutlery, Northfield #06 Templar knives with Crusader Acrylic handle scales are factory seconds, meaning that there is an imperfection so it cannot be sold as a first quality knife. It is non-returnable and does not have a warranty... But the price is right! The imperfection could be a slight gap between a liner and a spring, a sticky blade or scales not matching perfectly with a bolster, as some examples.

The Great Eastern Cutlery Northfield #06 Templar is a traditional "coke bottle" style pocket knife. At 2.75" long, it's a realatively small knife that is very easy to carry. It makes a great pocket knife for those small everyday cutting needs that come along. Made with pride in Titusville, PA. We are an authorized Great Eastern Cutlery Dealer and purchased this new knife direct from them.
The Blade(s):
This Northfield#06 Templar features a single 1095 steel blade. The Clip Point blade makes it a great knife for every day use. The polish finished blade has a cutting edge of 1.8" and a long pull nail nick for opening. There is a coat-of-arms style Northfield UN-X-LD logo with two lions etched on the blade. There is a half-stop.
The Handle Construction:
The handle scales are Crusader Acrylic. The "Barn Door Hinge" plates are nickel silver. The handle scale edges are flush with the outside perimeter making the knife pleasant to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.
