The Blade(s):
This knife features a single Clip Point style blade. The cutting edge is 2.375". The 1095 Carbon Steel blade has a polished finish and deploys very smoothly locking with a solid click. The park spring tension holds the blade firmly in place when closed. A long pull nail nick is provided for opening the blade. The "NORTHFIELD UN-X-LD" logo is etched on the blade.
The Handle Construction:
The handle scales are Dark Brewed Jigged Bone and the attaching pins and liners are brass. The three groove bolster and "Orleans" inlay shield are nickel silver. This fine knife features a lanyard tube. The handle scales are nicely shaped and are flush with the outside perimeter making the knife comfortable to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is smooth with a solid lock-up when deployed.
