Description
Designed by Chris Tanner (PREPAREDMIND101), and built by L.T. Wright Handcrafted Knives the Jessmuk is a unique style of knife that features a Nessmuk style of knife blade. It excels at slicing and skinning chores but due to some unique grind features, it makes a great bushcraft knife as well. It is a very versatile knife making it ideal for many outdoor tasks encountered while hunting, hiking and camping. The blade edge starts curving near the ricasso area so there is more "belly" than on some other knives. The blade tip is near the centerline of the knife making it ideal for drilling holes. The angle of the cutting edge starting from the ricasso area forward is great for doing feather sticks and other woodworking chores. The center of the "belly" area allows for efficient batoning of wood. The combination of the Scandi grind and 1/8" steel provides for efficient use in a variety of situations. This heavy duty knife features O1 tool steel, a squared spine for firesteel use and a large lanyard hole. The handle is large and shaped very nicely for comfort during times of extended use. The handle also features thumb scallops for more comfort and better control when using the "finger pinch" hold. The handle scales are attached with brass corby bolts and two ton epoxy for a lifetime of trouble-free use.
Includes a heavy duty leather dangler sheath.
