The ESEE Knives Camp-Lore PR4 is a no nonsense, hardworking fixed blade bushcraft/field knife. When it comes to outdoor chores, sometimes simple and straightforward is the best approach. The ESEE Camp-Lore PR4 is Patrick Rollins' version of Horace Kephart's classic design. The original prototype was made by James Gibson and tested extensively by Patrick during survival classes, off-trail backpacking, hiking and camping. The Rowen produced production PR4 features a 4" blade with a 4.75" handle, 1/8" thick 1095 HC steel blade, 90 degree spine for striking a Ferro rod and a leather pouch sheath. The PR4 is a great knife to get work done, just like all the other ESEE Knives.

Love my pr4. Got it at Blade Show 2017. Met Patrick and and had the pleasure of talking to him about it.. I have the 5 and Laser Strike. Great value product by great people. Like that it is Kephart design. If you don't know who he was, read up. I'll probably get the 6 cm next!

disclaimer - i have not yet received my knife in shipping, and i am not an expert on one knife versus another so trying to make any truly valuable analysis of this product that hasnt been covered by all the people out there who have spoken very well of this knife.

What i would like to say is that i ordered this knife the night before thanksgiving and they shipped it out the evening of thanksgiving, meaning that someone worked that night to pack orders so they could be given to the post office friday morning and the holiday would inconvenience my delivery as little as possible. that is customer service at the highest level for online retail, someone up there deserves a good job and a thank you. i will be ordering products from you in the future.

The more I use this knife... the more I love it. Probably my go to knife... even over my LT Wright Genesis. Good job on this one. Love the generous handle length!

I'm loving this knife. For those of you that follow my Adventure Ryan YouTube channel, I've been favoring this knife a lot lately. It's simple design gives exactly what is needed and nothing more. The PR4 is very similar to the ESEE 4, but the PR4, gives a little extra space on the handle than the 4 (the standard one--not the HM), the blade thickness is just a bit thinner, and the blade profile is a spear tip. It's just a good functional blade that gets stuff done.
