The Blade(s):

This knife features a single sheepsfoot style blade with a nail nick for opening. The cutting edge is 2.7". The 1095 carbon steel blade has a satin finish and features a solid half stop. "Hayn' Helper" and a farmer handling hay bales is etched on the blade.

The Handle Construction:

The handle scales are tough Delrin and the attaching pin and lanyard tube are brass. The handle scales are orange to make the knife easier to find if you drop or misplace it. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife comfortable to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.
