The Great Eastern Cutlery Remington #7352 PROSPECTOR Baby Bullet Knife is a traditional design pocket knife and it is just waiting to be in your pocket and/or collection. It is a medium to large-sized pocket knife featuring two 1095 carbon steel blades, Jigged Bone handle scales and a nickel silver bolster. Many consider the size of the Remington #7352 Bullet Trapper to be "just right" as it is large enough to handle tasks such as cutting large rope yet small enough to easily carry and do finer cutting tasks. The Blade(s):
The #7352 Remington PROSPECTOR Baby Bullet Knife features two 1095 steel blades, one with a drop point and the other is a spey blade. This combination allows the knife to be quite versatile whether using it for piercing, slicing, skinning or utility purposes. Both blades have cutting edges of 2.785" and nail nicks for opening. The blades have a satin finish. The Drop Point blade has the Remington Trade Mark etched on it. When deployed, the blades have a pronounced half stop and once past the half stop, they snap solidly into the fully deployed position.
The Handle Construction:
The handle size allows for a solid four finger hold for most people. The handle scales are Antique Autumn Peach Seed Jigged Bone and the attaching pins and liners are brass. The bolster and "Bullet" inlay shield are polished nickel silver giving the knife a classy look. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife pleasant to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.
