Description
The TOPS Wood Nymph was brought to TOPS by Bushcraft Kelso. If you’ve ever met Kelso in person or had a chance to talk with him about his gear, this design will make perfect sense to you. This is a guy that spends many hours outside foraging fishing, farming, taking care of animals and just learning everything he can. With all his experience and knowledge, he still maintains a sense of humility realizing that there is always more to learn. Kelso carved the first prototype out of a piece of wood and showed it to Leo at a BLADE Show in Atlanta. Although it is a very simple design, Leo saw the utility of it right away and said he’d like to make it a TOPS model. The Wood Nymph is TOPS famous differentially heat treated 1095, 3/32” thick. This is thinner than most TOPS models, but makes sense for this blade. the slice-y blade and pointy tip will be useful for most cutting tasks. The handles are thick, well-rounded tan and black G10, which are longer than the blade, so you have a full grip while keeping the overall package small. The sheath keeps the same concept of simplicity and size leaving you with a knife that works on your belt, as a neck knife, or even just in your pocket. This makes it one of the easiest to carry and most useful tools you’ll have on your side.
