The Hornero is a great knife design and offers great versatility.
Most cutting tasks can be done with blades 3.5” or shorter. Usually though, smaller cutting blades also come with smaller handles. While that’s great when it comes to overall size and the ability to carry a knife, sometimes, having a smaller blade with a larger handle is to a persons advantage, especially if you’re going to be using it for a while. That’s where the Hornero shines! The handle is large for a 3” blade, but it fills the hand nicely with its contoured mix of tan and black canvas Micarta. The sheep’s-foot type blade is made from 3/16” 1095 with TOPS famous differential heat treat and black powder coat finish. The included black Kydex sheath has a Kydex belt loop that puts the knife comfortably on a belt up to 2” wide, making this knife easy to carry all day, every day.
