The Rattail was created after one of BHK camp outs. Discussions happen around the campfire all the time and knife designs are part of those discussions. BHK friend Daniel Harding had a flint striking neck knife and suggested that BHK make one. John designed and made a prototype that so many fell in love with. The Rattail is small so it works well as a neck knife. The shape of the Rattail is very unique and so different from the other BHK knives. The O1 tool steel throws great sparks on flint for getting those flint and steel fires going. If you are looking for a low profile, flint striking, amazing EDC knife we think the Rattail is for you.
