Larger and stouter than the ESEE 4 but not quite as large as the ESEE 6, the ESEE 5 fills that perfect middle ground between a survival knife and a camp knife and can dispatch the functions of both. With a stout, saber grind that it is ideal for detail work, carving, splitting, batoning, and more, heavy G10 scales and an exposed pommel that can be used for crushing or striking, the ESEE 5 is a workhorse that’s built like a tank to power through any obstacle you encounter in the field.
