Camping Knives
A good camp knife is the big bruiser you break out in camp when it’s time to clear the campsite, baton rounds, chop the limbs off a sapling, or construct camp furniture. Most camp knives have fairly large, heavy blades with a forward center of gravity which makes them effective for chopping and other heavy work, as well as practical profiles, such as drop point or clip-point blades, and full tang construction. Like survival and bushcraft knives, camp knives are multi-purpose, utilitarian tools, equally at home striking a fire from a ferro rod or doing basic food prep as they are clearing brush.
