Description
Some knife designs happen overnight. Others wait years for the right moment. The TOPS Badger Creek is one of those designs.
Originally sketched by Leo Espinoza in 2017, the blade immediately caught the attention of Mike Fuller, the original owner of TOPS Knives. After studying the drawing, Mike gave it a name that would stick forever: Badger Creek. It became the final knife Mike ever named for Leo, making this design more than just another blade—it’s a piece of TOPS history brought to life.
The Badger Creek was designed to be a true outdoor workhorse. Big enough to handle camp chores, wood processing, and game prep, yet balanced enough to ride comfortably on your belt throughout the day. Whether you’re splitting kindling, preparing food around camp, or handling field tasks during a hunt, this knife was built to perform without compromise.
At the core of the Badger Creek is N690 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and dependable edge retention in harsh outdoor environments. The blade’s high grind paired with a robust 3/16" spine creates the perfect balance between strength and slicing performance, allowing it to tackle demanding work while still cutting efficiently.
The contoured two-tone Micarta handle delivers a secure, comfortable grip with a textured finish that stays locked in your hand even in wet or cold conditions. Every detail of the design focuses on reliability, comfort, and long-term usability in the field.
The Badger Creek is more than a knife—it’s a tribute to craftsmanship, legacy, and the tools that earn their place outdoors.
