This is an updated review from my earlier post on 11/11/15. I have to say, I am not disappointed at all Wth my purchase. Let's talk about the blade. The Flat grind make cutting tasks easy with no drag. It comes arm hair cutting sharp. It has a stone wash finish, which looks really nice. It come with a 90 degree spine which makestrel it a great fire rod striker. Now let's talk about the handle. I like micarta, however... it is not suitable for processing game. The handle actually grew on me quit a bit. It feels very nice in the hand. I also love that there is no jimping on the spine. Personally, I don't really care about jimping. So there is my overall update on my thought on the JG3.

The Sheath its made in the USA and its plain so you can put your own finish on it.
The Scales on this is Micarta; I like this material.
Its got a nice stone washed blade.
It does its job well as an EDC.

I have no complaints about this knife.

The JG-3 has hit the sweet spot for me for EDC. In spite of the raves for both the Izulz and Izula II, I found them a little small and awkward in my hand and neither came with a sheath that had the ease of access that the Camp Lore has. As my small knives got bigger and my medium knives got smaller; the JG-3 just fit right into the size I was groping for.
