Description
The LT Wright XL Workhorse is a rugged, full-sized fixed blade built for bushcraft, camping, woodcraft, and demanding outdoor use. Made in the USA, it combines proven materials with a practical design intended for serious field work.
The 4.25-inch drop-point blade is made from O1 tool steel and features a 3.9-inch cutting edge. At 0.150 inches thick, the blade offers a sturdy platform for carving, notching, feather sticking, food preparation, and general camp tasks. Its traditional Scandi grind provides excellent control during woodworking and is straightforward to maintain in the field.
O1 tool steel is heat treated to approximately 58–60 HRC, offering a strong balance of toughness, edge retention, and ease of sharpening. Because O1 is a carbon steel, regular cleaning and light oiling are recommended to help protect the blade from corrosion.
This version features a Grey & Black G-10 handle paired with LT Wright’s distinctive Mountain Finish. The durable G-10 construction provides a secure, dependable grip while giving the knife a rugged, modern appearance.
A custom leather sheath is included for secure belt carry.
