Shanghai Small - Xiǎodāo - Small Knife
Xiǎodāo means small knife in Chinese. Pronounced like "Chow Dow" . This is a smaller version of our Shanghai. Same design, smaller package. The Shanghai was inspired by the Fairbairn & Sykes dagger (designed by them while stationed in China), with modifications that fit our users needs and use cases.
This is a point driven profile but has full grinds for added penetration and extra use as a box opener.
The wrap is epoxy coated so as to prevent it from coming undone and prevents being damaged by water or sweat.
We use wraps instead of handle scales because it is far gripper in hand than any handle scales.
We made this smaller size for people that prefer or need a smaller tool than the fullsize Shanghai. This is a much easier EDC and deep cover piece.
