Description
TOPS Knives Brothers of Bushcraft Fieldcraft, BROS-Coyote Tan
The Fieldcraft Coyote Tan from TOPS Knives, designed by the Brothers of Bushcraft, is a rugged fixed blade built for bushcraft enthusiasts, survivalists, and outdoor users who want a serviceable field knife for real wilderness work. This knife features a 4.75-inch 1095 carbon steel blade at 0.190 inches thick with a Coyote Tan coating, hardened to RC 56-58 for a durable, long-lasting edge. At 10 inches overall and 9.6 ounces, the Fieldcraft offers the heft and reach to carve, skin, chop, and process wood with confidence.
The modified Scandinavian grind is effective for carving, skinning, and general woodwork, and the blade's hardness and edge geometry work together to hold a edge over extended use. The green canvas Micarta handle is one of the most ergonomic designs on the market, with a frictionless bow drill divot for starting primitive fires, thumb scallops for control during carving and skinning grips, and a pommel that allows baton strikes without stressing the handle. A scraper on the exposed pommel is designed for striking ferro rods safely. The Coyote Tan Kydex sheath with rotating steel belt clip offers secure carry on the belt, pack strap, or around the neck, and its built-in ferro rod attachment point turns the sheath into a minimalist survival kit. Tested in the Canadian wilderness and deemed a "Serviceable Field Knife" by local survival experts, the Fieldcraft is built to handle the chores you throw at it.
