The TOPS Knives Dawn Warrior is a professionally designed knife intended for those who want a dependable, high performance outdoor knife.

Noted writer Jerry Van Cook, wrote in Tactical Knives Magazine: "Tactical Operational Knives (TOPS) have a distinctive look about them. When you see one, you immediately know it's from TOPS because their very essence shouts "ALL ABOUT BUSINESS."

On a trip to the the Peruvian Amazon, Jerry carried the Dawn Warrior and wrote: "La Selva (THE JUNGLE), however, was a real proving ground. The Dawn Warrior was my only blade and it was constantly wet with a combination of rain, humidity and human perspiration. It cut everything from paracord, rope and vines to the sleeves off of two long sleeved T-shirts. Upon Jerry's' return from the jungle, he called TOPS and said "I think it might be even better suited for self defense" and so the story went on.

The sheath system is Heavy Duty Kydex, which locks the knife securely in place and has a Steel Spring Clip which rotates for attachment in a variety of positions.

Includes an emergency whistle.

I've had my Dawn Warrior for about 5 years now and it hasn't disappointed. Great camp knife that can do some bush crafting. I don't baton anything over 2.5" in diameter as all I need is basic kindling to get my fire going good.
Makes for a good camping, hiking and if you live in a knife friendly state it's also a good rec knife.
It also comes with a good kydex sheath. So you won't have to get a custom sheath right off the bat. Just simply a good general use knife that's tough enough for whatever you throw at it.
