TOPS Knives owner Leo Espinoza hand-customized this FMS himself, making it a truly one-of-a-kind blade. While it shares its roots with the original Frog Market Special, this version pushes the design forward with modern materials and a bold visual edge.
The handle material is a gray and black composite made by Voodoo Resins, developed by founder Matt Peterson. Known for its durability and stability, it's created through a controlled bonding process. Under UV light, the handle glows with a subtle reddish hue, giving this knife a distinct personality.
The 440C stainless steel blade has a forge-textured finish that shows its handmade origin. Thin and sharp, it slices smoothly through any task while resisting wear and corrosion.
Craig Powell, TOPS General Manager, crafted the sheath by hand in slate gray leather. Every stitch and mark reflects the attention of a skilled maker. The fit is snug and precise, designed to hold the blade firmly while aging with character over time.
