Description
Originally designed by TOPS founder Mike Fuller, the Storm Rider was one of the earliest knives ever produced by the company and helped establish the hard-use reputation TOPS is known for today. For years, customers have asked for this iconic design to return, and to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States, TOPS has brought it back as a limited, serialized production run.
The Storm Rider is built exactly how a TOPS knife should be—tough, dependable, and ready for serious work. Featuring a massive 1/4" thick 1095 carbon steel blade, this knife was designed to handle demanding tasks where durability is critical. The proprietary gray coating helps protect the blade from the elements while giving this anniversary edition a distinctive appearance.
What stands out most is the versatility of the design. The blade profile provides excellent slicing performance, a strong tip for demanding tasks, and the durability needed for everything from camp chores to heavy outdoor use. The oversized G-10 handle fills the hand comfortably and provides a secure grip even in less-than-ideal conditions.
As fans of TOPS here at TKC, we appreciate seeing legendary designs like this return to production. The Storm Rider 250TH represents the rugged, no-nonsense philosophy that made TOPS a favorite among military personnel, law enforcement professionals, outdoorsmen, and knife enthusiasts alike.
Whether you're a longtime TOPS collector or looking to add a piece of TOPS history to your lineup, this limited anniversary release is one you won't want to miss. Once these serialized models are gone, there are no plans for another production run.
