Inspired by karambit handling but reimagined for real-world use, the Upswarm ditches the traditional finger ring in favor of a smarter, safer grip. You still get that locked-in control in both forward and reverse grips—without the risk of getting your finger trapped when it matters most.
The handle takes cues from a knuckle duster design, naturally indexing into your hand and staying put under pressure. Paired with the aggressive Coco-Drillo tread on black canvas Micarta, this thing bites into your grip whether your hands are dry, wet, or working hard.
The 3" main edge (with an optional 1.63" top edge) is built for speed—quick slashes, controlled cuts, and decisive penetration in tight environments. Crafted from 1095 high carbon steel, it brings toughness, edge stability, and easy field maintenance when you need it most.
A black Kydex sheath with a rotating spring steel clip keeps your carry low-profile and adaptable—exactly how a backup blade should be.

Designed by Eric Mooney, the Upswarm started from something unexpected—a sharpness test. The way paper curled after a cut sparked the blade’s unique profile. After more than 50 design iterations, the final form delivers balance, control, and performance across multiple grip styles.
The balance point sits right in the first finger groove, making transitions between hands smooth and natural. Every detail—from the knuckle duster ergonomics to the ringless karambit influence—was built with one goal: control when it counts.
