This fixed blade features a 4-inch AEB-L clip point blade at 0.156 inches thick with a high saber/flat grind that combines the precision of utility cutting with the geometry needed for serious work. At 8.5 inches overall and 6.4 ounces, the Counter Strike proves substantial enough for camp tasks, game processing, and field work while remaining genuinely accessible for daily belt carry without becoming tiresome through extended use.
The double guard leading into the swedged blade delivers a fighter-like aesthetic reminiscent of its larger First Strike counterpart while providing functional protection and control. The comfortable Micarta handle features a gentle contour with a deep cut choil providing a positive stop against the guard. The top guard functions as a comfortable thumb ramp whether positioned behind, in front, or on top, while full grip positioning keeps it completely out of the way. The inner grip reaches 3.9 inches to the classic VGKC birds head pommel—full feeling with minimal beak, leaving the end open for bigger hands. The minimal taco-style kydex sheath with a rubberized nylon strap accommodates multiple carry positions and remains compatible with TekLok, UltiClip, and other aftermarket attachments.
