Its 2-inch blade is crafted from CPM MagnaCut steel and finished with a rugged tumbled finish, delivering exceptional edge retention, toughness, and industry-leading corrosion resistance. Heat treated to 62–64 HRC, the Newt provides long-lasting cutting performance with excellent wear resistance.
With a thin 0.097" blade stock, the Newt is an outstanding slicer, making it ideal for opening packages, precision cutting, food prep, and light outdoor tasks. The Natural Micarta handle offers a timeless look while providing a comfortable, secure grip that develops character with use. Its ergonomic design ensures excellent control despite the knife's compact size.
