The LT Wright Knives XL Workhorse is a rugged, full-sized fixed blade designed for bushcraft, camping, woodcraft, and demanding outdoor use. The 4.25-inch drop-point blade is crafted from O1 tool steel and features a 3.9-inch cutting edge. At 0.150 inches thick, the blade provides a sturdy platform for carving, notching, feather sticking, food preparation, and other camp or survival tasks. Its traditional Scandi grind produces a sharp, controllable edge that excels at woodworking and is easy to maintain in the field.
The O1 tool steel is heat-treated to approximately 58–60 HRC, providing an excellent balance of toughness, edge retention, and sharpening ease. Because O1 is a carbon steel, routine cleaning and light oiling are recommended to help protect the blade from corrosion.
Natural Canvas Micarta handle scales paired with black liners give the XL Workhorse a timeless, purpose-built appearance. The durable micarta provides a comfortable and secure grip in wet or dry conditions while developing additional character through regular use. Full-tang construction delivers maximum strength, balance, and confidence during demanding cutting tasks.
Measuring 8.75 inches overall, the knife weighs approximately 9.4 ounces by itself and 12.5 ounces with its custom leather sheath. The sheath provides secure carry while complementing the knife’s traditional outdoor styling.
