Description
Most dive knives are treated as an afterthought—poor steel, questionable edge retention, and built strictly for emergencies. When you’re underwater, you need a tool that performs the second you pull it. The Snake River Rescue was designed to fix that. This is a blade that acts like a knife first and a safety tool second, bringing real performance into the water.
This model came out of a TOPS Employee Design Challenge, where two designs took top honors—the Snake River Rescue and the Sidekick Diver. While the Sidekick focused on spearfishing applications, TOPS employee Jon Garcia set out to create a capable, all-around cutting tool for divers. Even coming from a desert background, the design was thoroughly researched and has since been tested by rescue professionals operating in dark, high-risk underwater environments. The result is a tool built to go beyond emergency-only use.
